So, if you scoured every nook and cranny of this website, you may have visited the info page and noticed the second paragraph. True, I never brought it up again, but since I have in my possession something small and cheesy (and cheap…don’t be expecting much!), let us commence with the fun.

Throughout the past four months, I have made various and sundry allusions to various books/movies/music/… Your task (oh friends who are bored over Christmas break) is to find as many of them as you can.  Since you’re all online already I am just going to suggest you all take full advantage of Google.

Rules
1. I will only count references that I intended.  So if I happened to mention something from your favorite Chinese novel, chances are it was completely coincidental and thus will not count.  But tell me anyway, maybe we have the same obscure taste.

2. References to my own experiences are legit.  I have, at least once, mentioned something that a friend told me or we did together.  Yes, that individual and others who know the story will have a slight advantage…but hey, maybe I referred to something in our shared experience too.

3. Whoever finds the most wins, yay! (And if there happens to be a tie…I’ll either find something for both of you or figure out a tie-breaker)

How it works
1.  Go through the posts and look for references to anything and everything.

2. Comment on the entry, quoting my reference and indicating what I am alluding to.  I have turned on comment screening so these will not be publicly visible.  Please use the same name for each comment and include your email address on at least one.
(or, you can compile a list and email it to me, whichever you find easiest)

3. Wait until on or after Christmas when I will email the participants with the results.

4. If you win and it’s not possible for me to personally deliver your prize, your address will be requested so it can be mailed.
